Type of articles: This journal publishes original research papers, research notes and review papers in subjcts:  Algebra, Linear Algebra and its applications, Combinatorics and Algebraic Combinatorics, Coding Theory, Cryptography, Algebraic Topology, Algebraic Geometry and  Banach Algebras.

ARM

Submission: All manuscripts should be prepared in LaTeX and the pdf file of manuscript should be sent to the editorial office only through the electronic submission via https://jas.shahroodut.ac.ir/.  Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of your files. The author may suggest an appropriate editor and reviewer to review their manuscript. If the author cannot determine an appropriate editor, they may suggest Editor-in-Chief. By submitting, the author(s) confirm that their manuscript have been neither published nor submitted for publication elsewhere. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail removing the need for a paper trail.

 

Submission of a manuscript  to JAS implies that:

  1. The work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis).
  2. That it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, in English or in any other language. 
  3. Its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any.
  4. Authors agree to transfer the copyright to the publisher, if and when their manuscript is accepted for publication.

Style file: To simplify the transformation process between your documents and the final layout, we provide the Style file of the JAS. It can be downloaded from the web page https://jas.shahroodut.ac.ir/journal/authors.note  Authors are responsible for the prepare formatting of accepted manuscripts by using the Style file of the JAS  (Word files (*.doc) are not accepted).

 

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted only in English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these) and should be written according to sound grammar and proper terminology.  
  2. Manuscripts must be prepared in LaTeX and the pdf file of the manuscript should be sent to the editorial office only through the electronic submission via https://jas.shahroodut.ac.ir
  3. To expedite the publication process, papers should be prepared using the style file which is download able from journal's homepage.
  4. The first page of the manuscript should include the Title, the Abstract, the Name(s) of Author(s), 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification following the annual index of the Mathematical Reviews, a list of key words, and the last page of the manuscript  should end with the contact information of each Author including first name, middle name (if any), last name, mailing address and email address. Figures and graphics, if included, should be prepared suitable for photographic reproduction.
  5. The Title of the manuscript should be clear and concise, specifically describing the content of the paper, and the Abstract should not exceed 150 words with at least one complete sentence.
  6. Lists of AMS subject classifications (please refer to the 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification on https://www.ams.org/msc) and key words and phrases should be included at the bottom of the first page of the manuscript.
  7. The word References should be bold-faced with only the first letter R capitalized, and its content should be standardized as follows:

 

  • a. Numbers should be styled as 1., 2., 3., ....
  • b. First name(s) of author(s) should be written in initials.
  • c. Names of journals should be italicized.
  • d. All bibliographical information should follow the AMS database, MathSciNet, especially for names of journals.
  • e. For journals, information should be in the order of the name(s) of the author(s), the title of the article, name of the journal, volume (issue), (year), and page numbers, with the volume number bold-faced.
  • f. For books, information should be in the order of the name(s) of author(s), title of book, publisher, city, and year, with names of books should be italicized.
  • g. References are in alphabetical order.

  1. Following acceptance of the article for publication, authors will be asked to complete and sign, the copyright for the accepted article, individually due to the full peer review processing and publication. 
  2. Editors of the journal reserve the right to accept or reject any article at any stage, if necessary.
  3. Submission Checklist:
  • a. Manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • b. References are in alphabetical order.
  • c. Keywords (at least 3) are provided.
  • d. 2020 MSC numbers are provided.
  • e. All authors are aware of and agree to the submission of this manuscript.
  • f. Manuscript has been 'spell-checked' and 'grammar-checked'.
  • g. All references mentioned in the Reference list are cited in the text, and vice versa.
  • h.  Please read “JAS Publication Ethics” carefully.
  1. JAS advises the author(s) to retain the LaTeX source-file and any other related files, until the publication process is completed. JAS may require the source-file(s) as soon as the submitted paper(s) are accepted for publication in the JAS.

Submission declaration and verification: Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis or as an electronic preprint, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright holder.

 

Changes to authorship: Please be advised that, as per journal policy, we are unable to make changes to the author list once a paper has been accepted for publication. Please ensure that the authorship of your paper is correct when submitting your manuscript to JAS, as no amendments can be made after acceptance.

 

Copyright: Journal of Algebraic Systems is an Open Access journal (i.e. all articles published will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download), which publishes Free of Charge.

 

Conflict of interest: All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations within three years of beginning the submitted work that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work.

 

Referees: Please submit, with the manuscript, the names, addresses, and e-mail addresses of at least three potential referees. Note that the editor retains the sole right to decide whether or not the suggested reviewers are used.
